Wartales is an adventure role-playing game developed and released by Shiro Games in 2022. Travel to the Middle Ages to journey through the land ravaged by the plague. In this story, you will not become a hero, legend, or chosen of the gods. In this story, you will be an ordinary human with the sole purpose of surviving in truly harsh circumstances.

Story

The mighty Edoran Empire had fallen into a pathetic replica of a decent country. A mysterious pandemic ruined its inhabitants, leaving only those most desperate to survive. However, the plague did not entirely vanish, turning people into meat-hungry aberrations. Set off on a journey through this grotesque land and do your best to survive.
